After the success of the first edition, we are pleased to announce the second International Workshop on Multilayer Music Representation and Processing (MMRP23). The event will take place in Pisa, Italy, on October 27, 2023 as a satellite event of the 4th International Symposium on the Internet of Sounds (IS2 2023, ▸https://internetofsounds.net/is2_2023/).
Accepted papers will be included in the symposium proceedings, submitted to IEEE Xplore, and indexed by major systems.
The workshop is organized by the IEEE Working Group (WG) for XML Musical Application. Fifteen years after the release of the IEEE 1599-2008™ Standard for music representation, the WG is actively working on the revision of the IEEE 1599 standard aimed at a multilayered representation of music information.
